I’m sure you have heard about the CBD oil talk that is going on and I wanted to share how CBD has actually helped me. Now, if you have never heard about CBD oil, you’ve also come to the right blog because this will be a very informative post and I hope that by the end, you decide to give CBD oil a try.
What is CBD?
Let’s just make this simple. Cannabis oil is the concentrated liquid extract of the marijuana plant, Cannabis sativa. CBD oil is made by extracting CBD from the cannabis plant, then diluting it with a carrier oil like coconut or hemp seed oil. Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is the main psychoactive cannabinoid found in cannabis and causes the sensation of getting “high” that’s often associated with marijuana. However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive.
How CBD has helped ME.
I have emphasized ME because everyone is different. Everyone’s bodies react to certain things differently. Therefore, understand that what CBD has done for me, may or may not work for you.
I received a 1 oz bottle of the 300mg Pure CBD Oil Tincture by Every Day Optimal. Each 1/2 dropper serving size contains about 5mg of hemp-based cannabidiol oil. To use this oil, I just place a half of the dropper under my tongue. This is the best way of getting the maximum effect of CBD oil. With this tincture, you can also add it to food and drinks. Since this has a peppermint taste, I have added it to my peppermint tea which is amazing!
Now to the effects…
- Relaxed. I don’t know how to really explain it but, I just feel relaxed and mellow. Being a SAHM with a toddler, life can be hectic and stressful so when it’s time to unwind and relax, I just feel at ease. Remember, you will not get high from CBD so you will still be yourself and alert but, just very calm.
- Let’s talk about sleep. Listen, I’ve always been a deep sleeper even after having my son. Sleep has always been a thing for me and I hate missing out on GOOD sleep. But as of lately, (maybe with the holidays approaching, I just can’t sleep comfortably. I feel like my brain is constantly thinking about what needs to get done. CBD oil has changed that. I find that I am sleeping solidly which leads to my next point.
- Has CBD oil turned me into a morning person? OKAY – yes! Hands down. Granted I’m up early thanks to my little guy, but I knew this CBD oil was working when I wasn’t rushing to my coffee machine as soon as I wake up! In fact, some days I go without coffee at all! Crazy? Right!
- Muscle pain has been reduced incredibly. So you know this glam girl over here is a gym rat. I lift heavy weights 4x a week. Although I’m strengthening my muscles, my body would kill me after my work out. Aches and pain were a complete understatement even with all the BCAA’s that I would use. Since using CBD oil, my muscle soreness is tolerable. I mean, I actually look forward to leg day now.
Overall, I could not be any happier with deciding to try out CBD oil especially the 300mg Pure CBD Oil by Every Day Optimal. They have a variety of dosages ranging from 300mg to 10,000mg. You can click here to see which oil will work best for you.
I’ve also had the opportunity to try out their CBD Gummies. GAME CHANGER! You guys, these gummies are delicious. I use the 15mg of the CBD gummies and they pretty much resemble Sour Patch kids. I highly recommend these especially if you are not into oils, pills or just want something while on to go to satisfy a sweet tooth with a bit of CBD oil, this is for you! I love that their products do not contain additives which means you are getting pure CBD oil. All of their products are gluten-free and most of their products are vegan-friendly.
Every Day Optimal offers a range of CBD products and I can’t wait to explore more CBD products from them.
For the newbies: Just note, if you decide to try CBD products, it is recommended that you start at a lower dosage and work your way up until you find the right dosage that suits your needs.
