My First Kysse Experience

This post is sponsored by Galderma. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s not what you think! I am talking about the newest lip filler on the market, Restylane® Kysse. I think everyone is intimidated when it comes to lip fillers, they are afraid that they will leave their doctor’s office with “duck lips,” but I am going to cut the myths and share the facts. Here’s my story on why I turned to lip filler for lip enhancement and correction. My goal was to have even lips with a slight volume. Of course, I knew the only way to correct this issue was with lip filler. Just like many, I feared that I would leave an office with “duck lips” or people would instantly notice that my lips were done. The pain was not an issue, I was afraid of how I would look afterward.

When I found out about Restylane Kysse, I knew this would be the perfect product for me after reading many studies about the new product and luckily my doctor found me to be a great candidate for Restylane Kysse. I think people are under the impression that you need to have a full syringe of filler in your lips, but for me, I only needed a little over a quarter of filler to achieve my lip goals.

So, What is Restylane Kysse?

Restylane Kysse is a new FDA approved hyaluronic acid lip filler that feels and looks natural. This is the first lip filler designed with XpresHAn Technology™ for flexible movement and natural-looking volume1,2,3.

Does it hurt? Not for me. Prior to my lip injections, I met with Dr.Paré of Dermatology Consultants in Atlanta. She analyzed my face and lips to determine how much filler I would need. Then a nurse placed a numbing agent on my lips for about 20 minutes and I was numb. You will feel slight pressure, but minimal pain. Lip filler can take a bit to get used to and I share that from past experience, however, I can tell you that with Restylane Kysse, I do not feel a thing. Restylane Kysse gives you lip fullness and helps improve the appearance of the lines above your lips. The best thing about Restylane Kysse from my own experience is that there is little to no downtime. Everyone’s body is different and reacts differently when it comes to injections, but for me, my experience was amazing.

Final thoughts? I could not be happier with my results from using Restylane Kysse. I can’t emphasize enough how many people give me a double-take when I tell them that I had my lips done. Almost 99% of the time, the response is “what? I had no idea.” It is that natural. I have found that since getting Restylane Kysse, I barely wear lip products. Restylane Kysse gives my lips a super hydrated look. If you are an OG reader, you know that I am all about convenience. If you made it this far, I am very happy that you did because I am sure that this is not the Kysse experience that you were expecting to read. 😉 If you are considering lip filler, Restylane Kysse is the way to go!
